Hej Everyone,

I think I owe you a note and some pictures, since I "ran out of gas" last night and fell asleep before the task was done.

Over the weekend.... the students report that they went "disco bowling" (similar to "glow bowling" at home) and watched some movies together, since it snowed lightly all weekend.  Tommy and I spent our weekend with "our" family, and did some work on the Model T project in the form of wiring installation.

Mondag brought more of the same "gray sky" with "little white things" falling from it with sub-zero temps (C).  Funny how the white stuff never seems to build up very quickly here, this time of year.

We attended class for automotive art to learn how to apply "metalflake" paint, and off to another great school lunch.

After lunch we were back to the same English class as the previous Monday.  This time it was a chance for the Swedish students to teach us some Swedish!  I have to admit that all four of us learned a lot, and I am sure the Swedes would probably say that the same was true for them as well!

The afternoon found us  paying a visit to the bakery school where Sofie is a teacher of the "sweet tooth art" of Swedish Pastries, etc.  ad then a visit to the auto parts store where Caroline is doing her practical experience.  The final stop for us was at the Volvo dealership, for a little self guided tour around.

Tisdag was diesel computer diagnosis class for Alyssa and I, while Tyler and Russ attended autobody repair class.  After lunch, all three of us joined Sven's beginning English class again (new group) for some more "share and tell".  We finished up our day at the motorsports classroom listening to a presentation from, (and about) the technical college automotive program.  Wow, did you know that this two year program is offered to the high school graduates, free of charge, with the exception of books and materials!  It is pretty much the Swedish equivalent of UTI or Wyotech.

OK..... hope that will hold you over until later in the week when we will get the chance to attend a rally car course where they train world champions, near the mountain resort town, Are.
